Stainless Steel Weld Neck Flange

Stainless steel weld neck flanges, also known as long weld neck flanges, feature a unique stress conduction design. The thickened neck structure effectively transmits the load to the pipeline system, significantly reducing the stress peak at the flange base. These products are manufactured using an integrated forging process and achieve a reliable connection with the pipeline through full-penetration butt welding.

The outer edge of the stainless weld neck flange is equipped with a uniformly distributed bolt hole array, facilitating connection with other flange components. The extended neck type (LWN) flange has a special cylindrical structure, with a tapered neck designed with a gradual thickening process. This not only enhances the overall structural rigidity but also optimizes stress distribution, effectively reducing the bending stress at the connection point. Its butt weld strength can reach over 95% of the base material strength, far surpassing the load-bearing performance of traditional fillet weld connections.
