Stainless steel blind flange, also known as blind flange or flange covers, are flanges without holes in the center. The center is solid, and there are bolt holes around the circumference. They resemble an iron lid in appearance. SS Blind Flange can be flat(FF), raised face(RF), concave and convex face, tongue and groove face, or ring joint face, but they do not have a neck like weld neck flanges. The main function of blind flanges is to close the pipe end to prevent the overflow of substances inside the pipe.
Applications
Blind flanges are widely used in situations where it is necessary to isolate pipes or equipment. They can be used at the end of water supply branches or as a temporary isolation means when the pipeline system needs maintenance. In addition, blind flanges are also used in parts of the pipeline system that need to be completely isolated to facilitate equipment maintenance, cleaning, replacement, or other maintenance operations.
