The sanitary spring check valve is a specially designed valve to prevent the backflow of fluids. It is widely used in industries with strict hygiene requirements, such as food, pharmaceuticals, bioengineering, and beverages. It ensures the unidirectional flow of fluids in pipelines, preventing cross-contamination.

The working principle of the sanitary vertical check valve is based on the pressure difference of the fluid. When there is pressure at the inlet, it overcomes the spring resistance to open the valve. When the pressure at the inlet of the check valve is lower than that at the outlet, the spring pushes the valve disc towards the valve seat to close the valve, preventing the backflow of the medium and thus serving the function of a check valve.

It is used in the food-processing, cosmetics, pharmaceutical and chemical industries as well as in the beverage, wine and oil production.
