CF8M Stainless Steel Globe Valve Working Principle
Unlike traditional ball valves, the DIN stainless steel globe valve is a control device specifically designed for precise adjustment of pipeline fluid flow. Its core structure includes a valve plug component (often referred to as the valve core or disc) that moves up and down and an annular sealing seat fixed inside the valve body.
The manual threaded stainless steel globe valve is named for its spherical valve cavity structure, with the internal flow channel divided into two separate chambers by a diaphragm. The upper part of the valve body has a precisely machined valve seat structure. When the valve stem is rotated, it presses the valve plug down, achieving complete sealing of the flow channel. The valve plug component (also known in industrial fields as the sealing disc or closure part) is connected to the operating mechanism via the valve stem:
• Manual Operation: The valve stem is rotated by handwheel to control the lifting movement.
• Automatic Control: A light rod structure combined with an actuator (e.g., electric or pneumatic device) drives the movement.

Precise Flow Control Design
The valve plug and the inclined valve seat make linear contact, and the opening can be precisely controlled through the vertical stem travel. This design is suitable for refineries and other applications requiring precise throttling. The valve seat design allows high-viscosity fluids (such as crude oil and slurry) or particulate media (such as wastewater and mineral slurries) to pass smoothly, avoiding clogging of the valve seat.
Explosion-Proof and Abrasion-Resistant
The globe valve is made of 304 stainless steel. The valve body features pressure resistance, explosion-proof properties, high temperature resistance, and durability. The wall thickness is uniform, offering high abrasion resistance and a long service life.
Excellent Craftsmanship
The inner walls of the globe valve are polished to a smooth surface, ensuring no scaling or blockage, making it practical and durable. NPT threads ensure the sealing of the globe valve and are compatible with NPT threaded pipes of other materials.
