Product Overview
tri clamp elbows are commonly used pipe fittings in pipeline installation, connecting two pipes with the same or different nominal diameters to allow the pipeline to make a certain angle bend. The nominal pressure rating of the elbow clamp is 1-1.6 MPa. The Clamped 90°Elbow uses a clamp adapter (such as a single-pin heavy-duty clamp with wing nuts or a bolt clamp) to securely fix the connection ends. The curvature radius must be controlled. For example, if the radius length is 1.5D, the curvature radius must be within the required tolerance range. Since these fittings are mostly used for welding, the ends are bevelled to improve welding quality, with specific angles and edge thicknesses prescribed. The surface quality and mechanical properties of the tri clamp elbows are generally the same as the pipe. For welding convenience, the material of the steel used in the elbow should be the same as that of the connected pipe.
